Hello Friends!
We have had so many simultaneous inquiries that I thought I should write you all together.
My husband and I are very excited about your interest in our home. As you can imagine we would like to have the matter settled as soon as possible so that we know there are good folks in there. I am only emailing those of you who seem like serious and responsible tenants.
Here is what we would like to do.
We can show the house to you almost any day this week. If you are unable to look in person we are enclosing recent photos. Please note that our current tenants are moving out, so the place looks a little bare. I hope these photos are helpful.
*We will consider all offers from the people on this list that are submitted to us by Friday (March 28th) at noon. *Please let us know of any questions you have, or set up a time for showing before then.* At noon we will pick the offer that works the best for both parties and request a deposit of some kind from that party. If they are unable to rent we will go down the list to the next best offer. *I hope this is fair. It is difficult with so many neat people emailing all at once.
As a reminder: The rent is $900 a month. If you have a pet we request an additional pet rent of $25 per month per dog and $10 per cat.
We would like renters in by May 1 if possible. (We can wait until June 1) We will also give consideration to anyone who wants to rent more than one year (IE- sign an two year lease agreement). We request a check for first and last months rent upon signing contract. If you are unable to pay the full first and last months rent as deposit we will be happy to negotiate. The upstairs of the house is rented separate from the basement, but the basement is totally separate except for the laundry room. You will not need to see your neighbors downstairs if you don't want to :) . We lived this way with different renters for 5 years and had a great time. It never caused any problems and we anticipate that you won't have any either. They couldn't even hear our babies cry when they were newborn!
